The Screw Conveyor is one of the oldest methods of conveying bulk materials. It consists primarily of a conveyor screw rotating in a stationary trough. Material placed in the trough is moved along its length by the rotation of the screw.
The Screw Conveyor may be mounted in horizontal, inclined and vertical positions. It is compact and versatile and is commonly used to control the flow of material in processing operations which depend on accurate batching or as a mixer, agitator or stirrer to mix and blend dry or fluid ingredients during the conveying operation.
With the addition of multiple feed and discharge openings, Screw Conveyors have the ability to distribute different grades of material to or from respective storage bins.
Jacmor Screw Conveyors are designed and custom built to suit the application for which they are intended. Our engineers give special consideration to the operating conditions and type of material to be handled.
